Sorbonne Université and the Île-de-France Region in collaboration with DATAIA, Hi! PARIS, PRAIRIE and SCAI, present the inaugural event of the AI4IDF DIM project, which took place on Thursday, April 20, 2023 on Sorbonne Université's Pierre & Marie Curie Campus.
Created in May 2022, the AI4IDF Major Research and Innovation Domain is a structuring and federating research project dedicated to artificial intelligence, led by the four Artifical Intelligence institutes of excellence DATAIA, Hi!PARIS, PRAIRIE and SCAI, funded by the Île-de-France Region in collaboration with a dozen academic partners.
After a year of activity, the AI4IDF DIM presented its project and the first five funded theses.
The inaugural event was opened by Valérie Pécresse, President of the Ile-de-France Region, Nathalie Drach-Temam, President of Sorbonne Université and Isabelle Ryl, Coordinator of the DIM AI4IDF project and Director of PRAIRIE Institute.
After official speeches and a presentation of the DIM AI4IDF project by Isabelle Ryl, coordinator of the DIM AI4IDF project, this event was an opportunity to highlight the work currently being carried out by the five PhD students with grants financed by the DIM, and to continue the exchanges over cocktails with the presence of academic and socio-economic players involved in this project and representatives of the Ile-de-France Region.
