AI Computing Infrastructure Call for Projects 2026-2027 | DIM AI4IDF
The advancement of artificial intelligence research relies on the ability of research teams to access computing resources tailored to their needs.
Within the framework of DIM AI4IDF, this call for projects aims to support the acquisition or co-funding of computing infrastructure dedicated to AI research and training, with a strong focus on shared usage across multiple institutions and research teams in the Île-de-France region.
The objective is to strengthen the computing capabilities available to the Paris Region scientific community by funding infrastructures designed for collaborative research projects and mutualized workflows.
A call open to all four scientific axes of the DIM
Submitted projects may fall under any of the four strategic axes of the AI4IDF scientific program :
- Machine Learning & Optimization
- NLP & Human Dialogue
- Robotics, Motion & Human Interaction
- AI for Human Life · Health, Education & Creation
Eligible infrastructures include, but are not limited to: mutualized servers, GPU clusters, high-performance workstations, high-speed storage systems, or dedicated training nodes.
Infrastructure designed for shared access
Projects must demonstrate a clear collaborative dimension and their ability to benefit multiple research teams and end-users.
Applications must be submitted at the scale of a university or a university consortium. The proposed infrastructure must be engineered to support research involving several DIM AI4IDF institutions and, where applicable, their partner organizations.
The proposal must also specify the human resources allocated to manage, maintain, and support the infrastructure over time.
